We seriously cannot handle this. Ruth Bader Ginsburg’s workout is intense.

Ginsburg’s personal trainer, Bryant Johnson, is currently a Sergeant First Class in the Army Reserves and he does not mess around. And although Ginsburg is 83 years old, he definitely doesn’t take it easy on her.

A writer at Politico attempted to complete the routine and it did not go well, to say the least. The regimen takes place twice a week (yeah, how many times do you work out every week. That’s what we thought) and includes the elliptical, stretching, strength training, bench pressing (the Justice can bench press 70 lbs), and squats.

But that’s not even close to being it. After that, Ginsburg moves on to pushups — and not the “girly kind” —, stretches, more pushups, and then planks. The routine finishes with 12-pound dumbbells and tossing a medicine ball.

Her trainer commented,

“I told the justice that if you cannot do this exercise, you will need a nurse 24-7.”

Harsh!

We’re glad to see that the Notorious RBG takes her health so seriously.

And let this be a message to Trump: Justice Ginsburg isn’t going anywhere in the next four years so take your eyes off her seat!
