Adele just returned with new music after a long hiatus, but the singer is already talking about ending her tour — for good!
Adele is currently on tour in Auckland right now and apparently opened up to the crowd about her struggles with stage fright. She announced,
“Touring isn’t something I’m good at … applause makes me feel a bit vulnerable. I don’t know if I will ever tour again.”
Wow. Just wow.
We knew Adele had an issue with stage fright, but we didn’t know it was this bad.
Back in late 2015, Adele described her stage fright to NPR, explaining,
“With my stage fright, I just don’t want to let people down. I get so nervous onstage that I don’t have the guts to improvise or anything like that.”
And although it’s been some time since that interview, it appears that her phobia hasn’t gotten any better.
Adele has been having a rough go of it this tour as she recently had a bad freak-out onstage due to a bug crawling onto her shoe. The whole thing was caught on video, of course, and surfed the internet for days. We totally get why the singer would be ready for her tour to end.
