ASP speaks on the future of Gilmore Girls

Although there has been fan speculation as to whether or not Netflix’s A Year in the Life will lead to more Gilmore Girls episodes, Amy Sherman-Palladino has officially squashed that idea.

According to Vulture, she said regarding the future of the show,

“We really had a very specific journey in our minds and we fulfilled the journey. So to us, this is the piece that we wanted to do. And the whole thought about, is there more, is there more, is there more — this has to go out into the universe now. We’ve got to put this to bed.”

We have to admit, that we’re pretty relieved. We were as excited for the revival as the next person but the four episodes turned out to be, well, bad. Really bad. We won’t give out any spoilers but if you haven’t watched the episodes yet, let’s just say they’ll leave you jonesing for some authentic Gilmore Girls. Hmm, maybe some things are just meant to stay in the past.

Her favorite Housewife is Bethenny Frankel (by far!), but when she’s not watching RHONY, you can probably find her hanging with her kitty Tom or tweeting at Sen. Chuck Schumer.
