We’ll be there.

Yes! Yes! Yes! It’s like Saturday Night Live is making all of our dreams come true.

NBC announced today that everyone’s favorite Aziz Ansari will host SNL for the first time ever on January 21st. That’s right — the Master of None star will host the first SNL episode after the inauguration. This is going to be epic.

The episode will also feature Big Sean as the musical guest. And we have a feeling Ansari was made for sketch comedy so it should be a good show all around.

Ansari wrote a viral essay for The New York Times last year about how president-elect Trump’s anti-Muslim rhetoric personally affected him and his family. We’re hoping the actor will use that raw emotion to get a good jab in at the soon-to-be president.

Ansari’s show Master of None is set to return to Netflix this year, although no date has been given for the premiere. At least we get a little Aziz to tide us over now!
