Writing a Young Adult novel is apparently the thing to do when you’re a young female celeb living the life in Hollywood. The latest to put pen to paper is model-turned-actress Cara Delevingne.
Delevingne recently announced that her first book Mirror, Mirror will be published in October (with the help of seasoned writer Rowan Coleman). The book is supposedly a “ripping and twisty coming-of-age story that explores identity, sexuality, friendship and betrayal, with a killer mid-point twist.”
Delevingne has been open about her sexuality so it’s unsurprising that she chose this as one of the themes of her novel.
About the novel, Cara said,
“I am so proud and I cannot wait for everyone to read this collaboration between me and one of my favorite [sic] writers.”
Delevingne has already proven herself to be multi-talented so we’ll just have to wait and see whether her skills carry over to writing as well.
Cara is also currently working on a new campaign for Chanel, which she teased on Instagram.
Lena Finkel is the Editor and Founder of Femestella. Prior to starting Femestella, she worked at People, InStyle, and Tiger Beat. Her favorite Housewife is Bethenny Frankel (by far!), but when she’s not watching RHONY, you can probably find her hanging with her kitty Tom or tweeting at Sen. Chuck Schumer.
