We can’t wait!
Chloe Grace Moretz has announced her latest project and we are psyched!
Chloe is set to star in the film The Miseducation of Cameron Post as an orphan who gets sent to a gay conversion therapy center after getting caught hooking up with the prom queen. The film is based on the novel by Emily Danforth and is set in 1993 — although it certainly could take place nowadays. The book was inspired by true events of Zach Stark, a teen who publicly spoke out against the conversion therapy he was forced to attend by his parents after he came out.
The film will follow Chloe’s journey as Cameron Post along with her peers who are stuck at the center with her.
No release date has been announced yet, but we are certain that based on Chloe’s previous body of work that this film will be one to watch for.
The movie comes at the perfect time too, as the new Vice President-elect Mike Pence as publicly spoken out in favor of such conversation therapy “treatments.” Hopefully this film will show how destroying this so-called therapy really is to young people.
