Men are totally victims of body shaming too, in case you didn’t now. Case-in-point? Chris Pratt.
The actor, who has been posting funny videos called What’s My Snack on Instagram, has been getting a lot of comments from haters complaining that he looks too skin, even calling him “skeletal.”
So, in response, Pratt posted an updated selfie with the caption,
“So many people have said I look too thin in my recent episodes of /react-text #WHATSMYSNACK react-text: 40 Some have gone as far as to say I look “skeletal” Well, just because I am a male doesn’t mean I’m impervious to your whispers. Body shaming hurts. So to prove my security in the way I look I’m posting a current selfie of me at what I consider a very healthy weight. 500lbs. Zero percent body fat.”
The Jurassic Park star posted a photo of a dinosaur skeleton to get back at the haters and added,
“Totally JK guys. This is a T-Rex skull. Nailed you so bad. Omg.”
Chris Pratt previously talked about his very public weight loss, which he had to do for specific roles, and how he actually preferred to be a little heavier, as did his wife Anna Faris. Pratt said that his wife was the one to fatten him up in the first place and now that he’s constantly dieting he has to resist her cooking.
As long as Chris is happy and healthy, that’s all that matters to us.
So no more body shaming, ok guys?
