In case you haven’t noticed.
In case you haven’t noticed, Mark and Jay Duplass are silently building an empire. And now with their latest show Room 104 with HBO, they’re pretty much taking over television.
You probably recognize the brothers from their numerous acting jobs, whether together on The Mindy Project, or separately on Transparent (Jay), The League (Mark), or Togetherness (Mark).
But the duo has also had ridiculous success behind the scenes as well, executive producing hit movies like The Skeleton Twins with Kristen Wiig and Safety Not Guaranteed. They’re also the mastermind behind HBO series Togetherness and the adult animated show Animals.
And now Mark and Jay are back at it with another HBO comedy, Room 104, which takes place in a hotel room.
“We’ve all seen stories set in seedy motels and high-class international resorts, but for years we’ve been fascinated by the funny, weird, sad, scary, absurd things going down in that corporate chain hotel near the airport,” the brothers said in a statement.
No premiere date has been set for the show yet, but we are already so excited. With Mark an Jay as show runners, what could be bad?
