Emma Watson’s Vanity Fair interview just revealed a lot about the actress.

Watson sat down with the magazine to discuss her new film Beauty and the Beast but ended up getting super personal.

Watson discussed how she lost herself in acting and almost quit when she enrolled at Brown University. It was around that time that Emma Watson decided to not take photos with fans outside of premieres.

“For me, it’s the difference between being able to have a life and not. If someone takes a photograph of me and posts it, within two seconds they’ve created a marker of exactly where I am within 10 meters. They can see what I’m wearing and who I’m with. I just can’t give that tracking data.”

Although Watson has starred in tons of films, she said that her role as Belle is really where she’s really seen a transformation in her acting.

“When I finished the film, it kind of felt like I had made that transition into being a woman onscreen.”

We love Watson’s decision to be more private and cannot wait to see the new Beauty And The Beast adaptation.

In the film, Watson stars opposite Dan Stevens (the beast) and Luke Evans (Gaston). Ariana Grande and John Legend debuted a new cover of the title song and Celine Dion will reprise her original song “How Does a Moment Last Forever.”

The critics have already begun to give Beauty and the Beast good reviews but we’ll have to wait and see what the fans think.

Will YOU be going to see Beauty and the Beast? We will!
