We’re mourning these losses as you read.
You know the feeling: the new show you started watching, the one with so much promise, has just been cancelled. Life feels so unfair. They didn’t even have a chance.
So let’s raise a toast to some of our faves that got the ax way too soon.
1. Finding Carter
The first season was perfection! Who was this crazy woman who kidnapped Carter? What was her connection to her biological family?
Season 2 took a bit of a hit, but the show still had a steady heartbeat. MTV, why do you do us so wrong?!
Amy Sherman-Palladino, Sutton Foster, and dancing. What could be bad? Nothing, that’s what! Absolutely nothing and yet the show only lasted one season. What a mistake! Luckily Sutton moved on to star in Younger with Hillary Duff (a must-watch, by the way) and dancer Bailey De Young is now rocking it on MTV’s Faking It.
MTV’s second chance at a Jersey Shore phenomenon was cut short after the sudden death of cast member Shain Gandee. RIP Shain and RIP Buckwild.
4. Teen Mom 3
Another MTV show that wrapped after season one. We’re gonna call this one on an silly budget issue.
5. So Little Time
Ah, a Mary Kate and Ashley classic. The charming show may have only lasted two seasons, but the hilarity will be remembered forever.
