If you’re already wondering what’s going to replace your Pretty Little Liars addiction, we have the answer for you: The Bold Type.

Deadline just released all the details on the new show and it sounds amazing! It’s apparently inspired by the life of Joanna Coles, the Chief Content Officer at Hearst (and also former Editor-in-Chief at Cosmo).

Freeform said in a statement:

The Bold Type is our love letter to modern feminism and aims to be a destination for authentic female friendship and empowerment.”

A new feminist show? Yes! We love it!

It’s set to star Katie Stevens (Faking It), Aisha Dee, Meghann Fahy, Sam Page, and Matt Ward. There’s no official premiere date yet but it’s going to debut this summer. And it’s created by Sarah Watson, aka a Parenthood alum, so you know it’s going to be good.

We can’t wait!

Lena Finkel is the Editor and Founder of Femestella. Prior to starting Femestella, she worked at People, InStyle, and Tiger Beat. Her favorite Housewife is Bethenny Frankel (by far!), but when she's not watching RHONY, you can probably find her hanging with her kitty Tom or tweeting at Sen. Chuck Schumer.
