No one can hide from rejection apparently.
Before becoming a household name, before marrying the beautiful Tom Brady, and before she was one of the top supermodels worldwide, Gisele Bundchen was apparently rejected a whopping 42 time!
We mock of course, because 42 is nothing compared to the number of rejections that many actors and models face in the careers, but its still surprising that a woman as beautiful as Gisele could face any rejection at all.
She recently told People, “I remember some people telling me my nose was too big or my eyes were too small, that I could never be on a magazine cover.”
“It wasn’t easy to be 14 and hear that kind of criticism. It made me feel insecure,” she added.
At 35 (aka ancient in supermodel years), Gisele is still stunning on magazine covers around the world, receiving endorsements at the drop of a hat, and looking just as gorgeous as always.
And while it’s difficult for us to understand how Gisele could ever feel insecure, we find it comforting that even the most beautiful of people are still human. Well, sort of.
