The Kardashian-Jenner’s team is no joke.

Ever heard the name Jen Garcia? Probably not, right? You may not know her but you definitely know her work. She’s the “Executive Editor” to the Kardashians and one of the many pillars of their success.

Jen first got close to the Kardashian-Jenner clan at People magazine, where she worked as an editor for nine years.

“The Kardashian family became part of my beat,” she told WWD last September. “I covered every big life event. I went to one of Kim’s weddings and I worked with her when she edited one of our StyleWatch pieces.”

And now? She’s busy running all the girls’ apps- and very successfully might we add. After just two days Kylie’s app went to number one on the itunes charts.

While every app is a clear success, that certainly doesn’t make the job easy by any means. A day in the life as part of the Kardashian-Jenner squad can be just as hectic as if you actually were in the fam itself.

“I’m in Calabasas about two days a week, meeting with the girls. Some days I’m on set — the other day I was on Kylie’s Elle Canada shoot — we shot her getting a haircut on the spot.

When it’s in the office, there’s no day that’s like the others. I could work with subscription flow, or be sitting with my editorial team brainstorming ideas, or walking through the content pieces.”

Lena Finkel is the Editor and Founder of Femestella. Prior to starting Femestella, she worked at People, InStyle, and Tiger Beat. Her favorite Housewife is Bethenny Frankel (by far!), but when she’s not watching RHONY, you can probably find her hanging with her kitty Tom or tweeting at Sen. Chuck Schumer.
