Let your ears rejoice! Katy Perry just dropped a new single, and we smell a hit.

Co-written and produced with Skip Marley (Bob Marley’s grandson), Max Martin (“Dark Horse”, “Roar”), and Sia, you’ll be jamming to this song after one listen.

Entitled “Chained to the Rhythm”, there’s no denying that the song’s message has something to do with our country’s current political climate.

With lyrics like “We think we’re free//Drink, this one is on me//We’re all chained to the rhythm” and “We live in a bubble, a bubble//So comfortable, we cannot see the trouble, the trouble”, the songstress seems to have a message to our country.

What do you think of Katy’s new song?
