Lena Dunham has added another tattoo to her ongoing collection!
The Girls creator is no stranger to tattoos — she currently has at least five others — except this time her ink was inspired by none other than Rihanna!
Dunham has expressed her love for the singer before and even gave a shout out to her in the most recent episode of Girls titled “American Bitch,” which ended with Rihanna’s song “Desperado.”
Dunham posted her newest tattoo to Instagram, writing,
“Thank you @trinegrimm for my warrior’s chest plate/tit chandelier, this is my first original piece by a female tattoo artist and it felt sacred and cool and she didn’t chide me for copying @badgalriri’s placement. If you’re ever in Oslo, go meet this metal queen and let her handle your body.”
This is might be Dunham’s final season of Girls, but that doesn’t mean she’s going anywhere! Quite the opposite actually. She recently released a documentary about abortion and is also working with writing partner Jenni Konner to bring her newsletter “Lenny Letter” to the screen.
We love Dunham and can’t wait to see what she does next!
