Ever since her father Michael Jackson died in 2009, his only daughter Paris has largely tried to stay out of the limelight.
Of course, that hasn’t always been easy (she is Michael Jackson’s daughter after all), and between the cyberbullying and her suicide attempt, the tabloids have had some fodder to work with.
Now the 18-year-old is coming forward to tell her own story in her own words, and that includes what happened to her father.
While speaking with Rolling Stone for her cover story, she said “absolutely” believed he was murdered.
“All arrows point to that. It sounds like a total conspiracy theory and it sounds like bullshit, but all real fans and everybody in the family knows it. It was a setup. It was bullshit.”
She didn’t list any of her top suspects, but instead insisted that “a lot of people” could have been the culprit.
At the time of Jackson’s death, Dr. Conrad Murray was convicted of involuntary manslaughter for his role in the singer’s dependency on the drug propofel.
Jackson has undoubtedly been through a lot, including a sexual assault at the age of 14, but now she’s on the road to recovery. She attended a therapeutic school in Utah, took antidepressants and is sober and happier than ever.
