It’s time to say no to anti-Semitism.

Famous YouTuber PewDiePie, aka Felix Kjellberg, is now facing the consequences of his anti-Semitic behavior.

In case you missed it, PewDiePie has posted several anti-Semitic videos, in addition to this Instagram post in which he can be seen doing the “Heil Hitler” hand sign. The caption is of a frog most likely in reference to the meme Pepe, which the White Supremacists have adopted as their own.

Maker Studios apparently severed ties with Kjellberg altogether while Youtube canceled the release of his upcoming series and dropped him from their premier advertising program.

Maker Studios spoke about the issue saying,

“Although Felix has created a following by being provocative and irreverent, he clearly went too far in this case, and the resulting videos are inappropriate. Maker Studios has made the decision to end our affiliation with him going forward.”

Kjellberg has since released his own statement about his anti-Semitic videos,

“I think it’s important to say something, and I want to make one thing clear: I am in no way supporting any kind of hateful attitudes. Though this was not my intention, I understand that these jokes were ultimately offensive.”

“Joke” or not, anti-Semitism is NEVER ok nor is it funny. If you’re a fan of PewDiePie, show him his actions are not tolerable by boycotting his videos. Every time you view his posts on YouTube, he makes millions from advertising and sponsors.
