In celebration of the 20th anniversary of her death.
ABC is making a Princess Diana documentary set to air in primetime during the month of the 20th anniversary of her death. It will honor the late princess and her legacy.
The film is set to air across two nights in August, four hours in length total.
Although a specific air date has not yet been released, the film will be aired in collaboration with People magazine (where Diana appeared as the cover model a record 57 time).
According to Variety, “the documentary aims to introduce the Princess of Wales, mother of Prince William and Prince Harry, to a new generation and to examine her legacy.”
