Strength is beautiful.
MMA fighter Ronda Rousey is showing everyone what strength and beauty really mean with her new partnership with hair brand Pantene!
Her new campaign for the hair care company carries the tagline “Don’t Hate Me Because I’m Strong” (a twist on the typical “don’t hate me because I’m beautiful”) and is showing a new side of beauty that brands typically ignored.
In a press release, Roussey stated,
“I’m fully aware that I might not be the first person people think of to collaborate with a beauty brand. I’ve been called ‘Miss Man’ and ‘savage’ because of my physique, but to me, strength isn’t only about having muscles. It’s about having heart and finding inner confidence, so I’m honored that Pantene asked me to be part of their new campaign that encourages women to break gender barriers, break the glass ceiling and never settle.”
Roussey joins the likes of Selena Gomez as a brand ambassador and damn if her hair doesn’t look amazing in the new ad! Check out her first ad below.
