Well, this is upsetting news. Classic facial scrub St. Ives’ Apricot Scrub is getting sued!

That’s right, your favorite go-to drugstore buy is no longer a safe bet. According to TMZ, two women are taking St. Ives to court for packing their scrub with crushed walnut shells that have allegedly torn up their faces and caused them to break out. But we have to wonder, why didn’t these ladies just read the ingredient list before they buying?

Their main claim is that the product says it’s “dermatologist tested,” but not actually recommended, which is totally misleading. But if that’s the case, then we could probably sue half the beauty brands out there for their outlandish claims!

The class action suit is against the parent company of St. Ives, Unilever, for more than $5 mil.
