We’re only days away from Taylor Swift dropping her much-anticipated album Red (Taylor’s Version).

And, after five long months, we’re pretty much on the edge of our seats waiting to hear all the new songs from the vault (including the 10-minute version of “All Too Well”!)

As we look back at the original Red era circa 2012, the only thing that rivals the music is Taylor’s style. Red marked a huge moment in Taylor’s fashion evolution. Gone were the princess dresses of Fearless and the flowy chiffon of Speak Now. The original Red era was all about stripes, varsity jackets, short shorts, and, of course, Keds!

Every music video featured a new iconic fashion moment and every performance brought us envy-worthy outfits.

So, in anticipation of the drop of Red (Taylor’s Version) on Friday, November 12, check out some of Taylor’s most memorable outfits from her original Red era. Oh, and did we mention we found some of the *actual* clothing Taylor wore (along with affordable dupes)? Check it out below.

1. Her ‘Red’ Photoshoot

Om August 13, 2012, Taylor Swift revealed the cover art for her fourth album, Red. The photoshoot made it clear — this era would be a totally new style for Swift. In the original photos, Taylor wore a Rag & Bone sheer piped shirt along with a pair of oxfords — a shoe that would quickly become her signature during her Red era.

2. Her ‘Rolling Stone’ Cover

Just a few days after the release of Red, Taylor Swift appeared on the cover of Rolling Stone wearing a blue and gold varsity jacket and green denim shorts. The varsity jacket would eventually become a staple in her tour wardrobe.

3. Her WANEGBT Squirrel Pajamas

On August 13, 2012, Taylor released the first single off of red, “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together.” The jam is rumored to be about ex Jake Gyllenhaal, who she dated back in 2010. The corresponding music video came out just a few weeks later and featured epic outfits including these cozy squirrel pajamas.

4. Her WANEGBT Daisy Dress

Her squirrel pajamas weren’t the only memorable outfit from her ” We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together Music Video”. She also rocked this vintage-inspired black daisy dress

5. Her ‘X Factor’ Performance Look

In November 2012, we got one of our first tastes of Taylor’s new performance styles with her rendition of “State of Grace” on the X Factor.

6. Her ‘I Knew You Were Trouble’ Tee

Taylor released her music video for “I Knew You Were Trouble” on December 14, 2012, and we all knew *exactly* who it was about.

The video also showed a whole new side of Swift, who debuted more of a rocker look with a destroyed black dot tee and dip-dyed pink hair.

7. Her Brit Awards Look

Taylor showed up to the 2013 Brit Awards wearing a super sexy double-slit maxi dress. The original gown was designed by Elie Saab and made Taylor one of the best dressed on the red carpet that day.

8. Her ’22’ Music Video Tee and Sunglasses

When Taylor dropped her music video for “22” in March 2013, everyone was scrambling to recreate the looks. Her “Not a Lot Going On At The Moment” t-shirt sold out in minutes and every Swifty was jonesing for a pair of heart sunglasses. What can we say? We were feeling 22.

9. Her ‘Everything Has Changed’ White Dress

In June 2013, Taylor graced us with a music video with bestie Ed Sheeran for their song “Everything Has Changed.” The video was absolutely adorable and Taylor’s white fit-and-flare dress was a perfect look perfect for the song.

10. Her 2013 Red Tour Look #1

Taylor’s Red tour consisted of so many amazing outfits! One of our favorites is this look that consisted of a varsity jacket, Michael Kors Striped Sweater, and Joie Red Pants.

More stripes! Another of our favorite Red tour outfits includes this elbow sleeve red stripe tee, black shorts, and red oxfords.

12. Her 2013 Red Tour Look #3

During her tour, Taylor loved to wear tees from the city she was performing in, from LA to Tokyo. Our favorite was this cute I Heart L.A. shirt that went perfectly with her red hot shorts.

13. Her Summertime Ball Outfit

In June 2013, Taylor gave an epic performance at the Capital FM Summertime Ball featuring renditions of “22”, “Everything Has Changed”, “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together”, and “I Knew You Were Trouble.”

But the best part of her set? Her super chic outfit was composed of a contrast button-up, black hot pants, and black glitter oxfords.

14. Her Diet Coke Ad Silver Dress

Remember when Taylor signed on to rep Diet Coke? How could anyone forget! One of our favorite looks from her ad campaign was a silver halter dress by Alice & Olivia (and yes, that is the *exact* dress she wore below).

15. Her Spring 2014 Keds Campaign Look #1

Ah, the era of Keds! Taylor and Keds seemed like a perfect match, especially in the Red era. For the Spring 2014 ad campaign, she repped the Rookie Laceless Perf Sneaker, which is sadly, no longer sold.

16. Her Spring 2014 Keds Campaign Look #2

Another of our favorite Taylor Swift Keds ads was this all-pink look featuring the Champion Coral Seasonal Solid Shoe. The look was for the same Spring 2014 campaign, which launched in February of that year.

17. Her Academy of Country Music Awards Outfit

Taylor made a statement on the red carpet at the Academy of Country Music Awards in April 2014. The incredible look included a cut-out crop top and a maxi skirt with a slit. This was towards the end of her Red era and you can definitely see some 1989 inspiration start to seep in here.
