How many times have you went to the gym only to find yourself comparing your body to those of other ladies? Danielle Brooks just took us through that moment only to have a workout epiphany that will give you major body positive goals.
In a video she shared on Instagram, Danielle talks about how she was feeling awesome about herself at the gym when she finished her workout only to find herself down in the dumps two minutes later. She saw the other super-fit ladies in the locker room and suddenly started feeling self-doubt about her own curves.
“Why compare myself to someone else? Why, just two minutes ago, I was feeling great, and now I’m not?”
She ultimately decides that the only person you should be comparing yourself to is the you of yesterday.
“Today’s Danielle is better than yesterday’s.”
