The UnREAL season 3 finale just aired and already I can’t wait for season 4!
Lucky for us, the season has actually already finished filming so it’s just a matter of time before the season airs.
After the season 3 finale, the cast and crew discussed season 4 and what’s next for Rachel, Quinn, and more.
Rachel is Panicking
Rachel had a really bumpy road this season, especially as she starts to face her past, including her rape. But the season finale saw her face a lot of harsh truths and now she has to deal with the fallout. Constance Zimmer told Vulture,
“To be told all of those things and have those frightening, horrifying things ringing in your head while you’re all alone in the woods … that’s not a great place to be. I think that it can create a lot of panic in someone like Rachel Goldberg.”
Rachel Will Be … Blonde?
Yes, you read that right. And if you follow Shiri Appleby on IG then you’ve already seen a glimpse of her new locks. Constance explained,
“I think the decision to dye her hair is coming from this place of panic, and we’ll take it from there.”
Everlasting All-Stars is Happening
Everlasting is officially ready to take it to the next step with an “all-stars” edition.
“It’s in the same mansion, but it’s Everlasting All-Stars. We have some of the characters coming back. I don’t think this is a secret because it’s been on social media — August is coming back, Alexi is coming back. And some people that I don’t want to say, but people from previous seasons.”
“It’s a little bit of a different format. The challenge is more of like a Survivor-type challenge — some are physical, some are mental, people are fighting against each other every episode. It’s all about couples, too. In the elimination ceremony, you’re choosing who you want to be with that night, and they all do actually spend the night together. So you’re coupled up at the end of each episode, basically.”
Adam is Definitely *Not* Coming Back for All Stars
Damn it! Adam would be an amazing addition to the team, not to mention that Rachel would be forced to face her old love, but unfortunately, Freddie Stroma has been just too busy!
“I know everybody wants Adam to come back — who wouldn’t want Adam to come back? — and we’d love to have him back, but he hasn’t been available, so there is no Adam.”
Jeremy is Officially Out
Showrunner Stacy Rukeyser confirmed the news to EW that Jeremy would not be returning next season. She said,
“Storywise it just felt like the right thing to do because he has gone on a big journey this season. In the beginning, he’s glib, almost, in admitting [that he killed two people], but he’s not really processing it. By the end of episode 9, he is. And it was just nice to see one character realize how toxic this place is and actually get out. So he gets out and he stays out.”
Dr. Simon is Also Done-zo
One day you’re in and the next day… well you get it.
“He’s been fired, and he’s going to stay fired. [Rachel] is certainly not interested in a romantic relationship with him.”
Unfortunately, we’ll have to wait until 2019 for season 4 to air. In the meantime, check out the teaser trailer below.
