We’re less than one month away from the premiere of Game of Thrones season 7 and we can’t wait!
HBO has been pretty tight-lipped about what to expect but Sophie Turner recently gave a few tidbits to Empire magazine.
She said of her character Sansa,
“She has this newfound power, but not as much as Jon. This season’s all about her struggles with that.”
She added that she’s absolutely not Team Snow: “I’m on Team Stark.”
But don’t worry too much about the struggles between Sansa and Jon. Turner confirmed that this season is going to move on from the regular inter-family battles. She said,
“It is less about the quarrels between the families. There is a bigger picture. There’s more at stake this season. People who you’ve always rooted for to meet and didn’t know if they’d get along, are meeting in order to form alliances.”
HBO has officially confirmed that GoT will end after season 8, for which Turner is a little grateful but a lot terrified. She said,
“I’m really sad to leave Sansa behind. Though it’ll mean I can change my hair color to black now, or cut it to chin length.”
LOL! Way to stay positive, Sophie!
