13 Reasons Why season 2 is already well underway and now the star Katherine Langford is giving out a few spoilers on what we can expect.

After season 1 dropped on Netflix, fans went absolutely crazy. It was an even bigger reaction than anyone ever thought was possible, even with Selena Gomez attached to the project. Inspired by the books, 13RW told the story of Hannah Baker and the reasons she decides to commit suicide in high school. It wasn’t a given that the show would even get a second season, but after the fan reaction, Netflix decided to give season 2 the green light.

Speaking with Elle, Katherine explained what to expect from her character Hannah.

“I definitely know Hannah is in season two and we’re going to have the opportunity to see parts of her life that we didn’t in the first season, which is exciting. But I also know that we’re going to continue the dialogue and continue to develop the stories that we saw in season one.”

The second season takes places a few months after the first, so Hannah is already gone and she’s no longer the narrator, but she’ll still appear through flashbacks.

Of course, the show has had a hug impact on Langford’s life. It skyrocketed her to stardom nearly overnight. But the message of the show has also taken a toll on her personal life. She says,

“I think after playing Hannah I felt the need to try and communicate better with others and to really check and see if my friends were okay. I learnt the importance of friends even more so than I had before.”

The entire cast will be back for season 2, including Ross Butler who left his other show Riverdale to continue on in the Netflix series.

So far, there’s no releases date for 13 Reasons Why season 2.
