5 Awesome Plus-Size Fashion News You May Have Missed This Week

There are so many wonderful things happening in the plus-size world that we can’t contain ourselves!

Major brands and designers finally seem to be getting the memo that fashion needs to be for all body types, not just one. So to celebrate, here are a few of the awesome things that happened in the past week.

5. Eloquii Dropped Its First Designer Collab

Our go-to for plus-size fast fashion, Eloquii finally released it first designer collaboration, Teresa for Eloquii. The line is designed by Teresa Maccapani Missoni (yes, that Missoni) and incorporates a combo of classy looks you can wear to work and fun, beachy items.

4. Forever21 is Completely Relaunching Their Plus Line

Forever21 first launched its plus-size line in 2009 but haven’t paid much attention to it since. Well, that’s all about to change! They’re kicking off the line on Friday with a brand new ad campaign featuring our favorite Barbie Ferreira, an expansive lookbook, additional swimwear, and a lingerie line.

3. Gwynnie Bee Opened a Pop-Up Shop on Fifth Avenue

Gwynnie Bee, aka the only plus-size rental subscription service, just opened a cute pop-up in the heart of NYC. The store will stay open for about six weeks and carries sizes 10-32.

2. Candice Huffine nabbed an Elle cover

While we were a bit disappointed the Elle swimsuit issues didn’t have more diversity, we were super pleased to see Huffine land one of the six cover spots. Huffine is a beast in the modeling world and later told Elle,

“I’ve always hoped that my presence in this industry as a model–a vocal one–and the message that I send, has just done its part in helping women just be happy with themselves.”

1. Victoria Beckham dropped her Plus-Size Collection for Target

VB x Target launched this past weekend and guess what — it included an entire plus-size line! Every item was available in both average and plus sizes, so there was something for everyone. It was one of the most hyped collaborations Target had in a while, so you better get yours while you can.
