Margaret Atwood to Drake: Please Come on ‘Handmaid’s Tale’

Apparently, Margaret Atwood would desperately like Drake to make a cameo on The Handmaid’s Tale.

In a recent interview with fellow author Junot Diaz, she said,

“Wouldn’t it be fun for him to have a cameo in season two of The Handmaid’s Tale? I’ll drop that notion into the ear of Bruce Miller, the showrunner, and see what he can do with that because of course the show is filmed in Toronto. Maybe Drake could help smuggle someone?”

LOLOL! Um, we love this idea. Atwood added that unfortunately, she doesn’t personally know Drake as they don’t tend to run in the same circles.

“I haven’t met Drake, but I have of course met people who have met Drake. But you have to realize how o-l-d I am. I’m not likely to go to the same parties. Or many parties at all, to be frank.”

Although perhaps this could be a chance for the two to party it up together?

We have to say, this doesn’t seem totally farfetched to us.

Drake started out as an actor on Degrassi back in the day, so it wouldn’t be a totally foreign concept to him. Besides, with Ed Sheeran guest starred on Game of Thrones, why shouldn’t Drake get to come on Handmaid’s Tale? We could see it.

Someone get Drake’s manager on the phone ASAP.
