Cue Huey Lewis and the News because Kiernan Shipka is going back in time!
In her new Amazon Prime movie Totally Killer, Kiernan plays Jamie, who must go back to the 80s in order to stop the infamous “Sweet Sixteen Killer” who killed all of her mother’s friends back in the day.
The film obviously takes quite a bit of inspiration from Back to the Future — a fact they don’t bother shying away from. But if we’ve learned anything from the original movie it’s that what’s old can always be made new again.
In addition to Kiernan Shipka, Totally Killer stars Julie Bowen (Modern Family), Olivia Holt (Cruel Summer), and Randall Park (Fresh Off the Boat).
