Everyone listen up!
Amber Rose is all about that female empowerment. She’s basically become the poster child for confidence and has said that she’s confident every single day.
But even this kween has her rough days. And now she’s doling out words of wisdom on how to survive those tough times and give yourself a boost. Talking to The Cut, she says,
“If I wake up and I’m like, “Shit, this is going to be a tough day,” or I’m doing something I’ve never done before, I talk myself out of it. I tell myself I’m capable, great, and even if I mess up, I get better over time.
Even with my body, I’m not getting any younger. Like I told you, I like to eat. It’s my favorite thing to do. I know when I do gain weight, I’m less confident. That’s when I work out and take the initiative to do things that make me feel better. And like I said, that’s for me, personally. Everyone is different.”
Amen! We wish we had the ability to talk ourselves into feeling confident on our worst days, but we are totally going to try Amber’s trick! Considering Amber just got herself a new makeup line Flirt and a brand new talk show, she must be doing something right!
her masturbation secret
As if there weren’t enough reasons already to, ahem, pleasure yourself, Amber Rose is giving us one more.
When asked by Glamour what her secret is to perfect, glowing skin, she had but one answer: Masturbation. Let her explain.
“I wish I had the time to masturbate every day in reality, but I don’t. I say a lot of those things on [The Amber Rose Show] because I am very sex-positive. I do say those things in a way where I am very serious, but it’s also a joke.”
Lols. Well, we don’t need any more convincing!
While talking to the magazine the beauty icon also discussed how she used to steal makeup growing up when she was too poor to afford it.
“We were really poor, and I couldn’t afford the lipstick. So I went into a drugstore and stole one because I had to have it. I stuck it up my sleeve, and I felt really bad—but I did it all in the name of beauty.”
Amber Rose was recently named the face of new cosmetics brand Flirt Cosmetics, for which she has been doing press as of late. She’s also been working on her new talk show and recently led her annual SlutWalk.
