Anyone who’s been following Anne Hathaway’s recent fashion transformation knows that the actress absolutely knows how to make a statement on the red carpet.
So imagine how shocked we were when she rocked a Gap dress in Rome earlier this week!!
Anne wore the dress to the Bulgari Aeterna High Jewelry Show in Italy (Anne was named an ambassador for the jewelry brand in 2022). She paired the dress with a white strapless corset, Bulgari diamond jewelry, and Louboutin White So Kate Pumps.

The white deconstructed maxi shirt dress was designed by Zac Posen (who is desperately trying to make a comeback).
Anne’s stylist Erin Walsh said the inspiration was “Roman Holiday and deconstructed elegance”. She added,
“Refined and raw. It’s a little risky to rock a white shirt dress at a gala. But somehow — it was utter perfection.”
A limited edition of the dress became available on Gap’s website on Tuesday and sold out within a matter of hours. Whether or not Gap will create a second batch is yet to be seen, but in the meantime, below are some pieces to help you recreate Anne Hathaway’s “Roman Holiday” look at home.
