The Bachelor star Caelynn Miller-Keyes would like to clear up any misconceptions you might have about her relationship with Dean Unglert.
Caelynn recently chatted with Us Weekly where she addressed concerns that Dean wasn’t committed to her. She said,
“Something that actually really frustrates me is that [some] people think Dean, like, isn’t a great boyfriend. He is hilarious and he’s very sarcastic and he’s also the most romantic person I think I’ve ever met. He’s so thoughtful.”
“So I think that’s a big misconception — that I’m, like, more invested in the relationship or he, like, doesn’t treat me right. I’m like, ‘No, he treats me exceptionally well and he’s always going out of his way to just surprise me and do romantic things.’”
The couple, who originally met on Bachelor in Paradise, have been together for two years now and anyone who doesn’t think Dean is devoted clearly hasn’t seen his ring finger.
Although the two aren’t married, Dean started wearing a wedding-esque band on his finger back in June 2020. On an episode of The Bachelor: The Greatest Seasons — Ever!, he explained,
“I don’t need the title of husband to show the world I’m committed to one person. So the fact that I’m wearing the ring is showing just that… I’m committed to Caelynn and only Caelynn. And that’s why I’ve worn it.”
But according to Caelynn, marriage isn’t completely out of the question. She recently told Hollywood Life,
“I can honestly see us getting engaged and not telling anyone… and same for a wedding.”
“We’ve talked about keeping things super private and intimate. Also, maybe we don’t need to get married. I don’t know. Our relationship works so well, we go back and forth.”
Whether the two decide to get married is a personal decision, but it’s clear that they don’t need a ceremony to be happy.
Just one look at either Dean or Caelynn’s Instagram accounts and it’s obvious that they’re both living their best lives. The couple enjoys traveling all over the world and has been everywhere from Yosemite National Park to Frankfurt, Germany. And thanks to their millions of followers and numerous sponsors, they essentially get to travel for a living.
When the couple isn’t busy globetrotting, they stay at their new home in Las Vegas, which they bought together in January 2021. The two also share a senior dog named Pappy, whom they adopted in February 2020 after fostering him.
At the time, Dean wrote on Instagram,
“It’s not what we wanted to do when we originally fostered him, but damnit he left us no choice. This old geezer comes with a laundry list of health complications, so we decided to fill his waning years on earth with as much love as we possibly can. And it doesn’t hurt that he thrives in the van.”
