Um, do not try to mess with Rachel Lindsay, mmk? Apparently, DeMario Jackson didn’t get the memo because he recently tried to take shots at The Bachelorette.

DeMario recently claimed that the reason he didn’t make it that far on The Bachelorette is because Rachel isn’t into black guys. He said,

“I was only there for the two weeks in the house. From the beginning you knew that she was attracted to white men. You knew that. No disrespect, you just knew. She had that vibe. From night one, we all set down, all the guys and I said, ‘They’re going to have a black representative, either myself or Eric, and they’re going to have Dean, Peter, and Brian as the final four.’ We all caught that.”

He continued that he believed only one black guy would make it to the end.

“I mean it was obvious. I said, ‘It’s either going to be myself or Eric.’ Just for the fact that I feel like Eric and I both have … I mean we have different but similar personalities and we’re both like, it’s just pretty good for TV. It’s either me the wild and crazy black guy, or it’s going to be the very spiritual down to earth positive motivating guy. You have Dean because he’s fucking drop dead gorgeous, Dean’s beautiful as f–k.

Um, what? So you knew Rachel for about two weeks on a TV show and that’s how you decided that what she does and doesn’t like?

Well, Rachel was not about to let him get away with that and posted this comment to Instagram:

“Demario never knew me and still doesn’t.”

Truth!

Rachel seems super happy with her fiancé Bryan, even though most fans were initially upset by the choice. The couple recently went to Miami to celebrate their engagement weekend and then Rachel introduced Bryan to her grandmother.

Meanwhile, DeMario will appear on a special episode of Bachelor in Paradise tonight where he will sit down with Chris Harrison to discuss what happened with Corinne. BiP contestant Raven Gates has already stood up for Jackson publically, declaring he was unfairly judged because of his race. It will be interesting to see how DeMario thinks race played a part in the public discussion of went down that night in the pool.
