Finding the perfect bag is never an easy task.

But when I saw the Ina Mini Crossbody Bag by Behno, I knew I had to have it. It was *so* cute and the perfect size for everyday use.

[Full disclosure, Behno was kind enough to provide me with a bag, but all opinions are my own. I would never endorse a product I didn’t truly love!]

Design

The bag comes in 8 colors and I decided to go classic with black.

I absolutely love all the little details like the knotted handle and the drawstring closure.

I sometimes worry about walking around with an open-top bag in the city, so I was relieved that you can close the bag 100% using the drawstring alone (no gap!)

The inside of the bag is fully lined and has one small pocket to stick loose change or lip balm. (If you like a lot of internal pockets, this probably won’t be enough for you).

The attachable crossbody strap doesn’t really have an obvious place to attach on the drawstring side, but with some finesse, you can make it work.

Quality

I’m no Tanner Leatherstein, but the leather feels very high-quality. It’s incredibly soft and has a nice pebble finish.

The stitching is also nicely done, and the hardware feels substantial.

What Fits Inside

The bag may be “mini” but I can still fit all of my everyday essentials — an iPhone 13, small wallet, sunglasses, keys, headphones, lip balm, and travel lotion.

For comparison purposes, I’d say it more or less has the same capacity as a Lululemon Belt Bag.

Price

Coming in at under $300, this bag is perfectly priced. It falls nicely in the “affordable luxury” category, alongside brands like Coach and Kate Spade.

For a frame of reference, bags of similar quality and size include: the Coach Soft Empire Carryall Bag 21 ($325), the Tory Burch Mini Romy Bucket Bag ($295), and the Kate Spade Deco Small Tulip Tote Bag ($328).

Final Thoughts

If it wasn’t clear already, I really, really love this bag. The quality is 100% worth the price and the size is perfect for me. I tend to travel light and the Ina Mini fits all of my must-haves. The size might be a bit small for those with more to tote, so for anyone looking for their new “everyday bag”, you should make sure the size is right for you.

The bag also comes in medium and large, if you’re willing to up your budget.
