Thought CW had given up on Gilmore Girls? No way! CW Exec Mark Pedowitz recently cleared up the rumor that Netflix was the only one that wanted to renew the show.
Talking to Variety, he exclaimed,
“It’s hard. For example, I would have loved to have had the ‘Gilmore Girls’ [sequel]. Netflix can outspend me in a heartbeat. That’s tough.”
Rough times! Luckily the CW seems to be doing ok, what with Jane the Virgin, Arrow and The Flash all huge successes.
As for us, we’re a bit relieved that Netflix won over the CW. No commercials for all!
