Demi Lovato’s new single “No Promises” with Cheat Codes dropped this morning at midnight and people are seriously feeling its catchy vibe. But what people aren’t feeling? How much it sounds like Justin Bieber.

Comparisons first arose on twitter almost immediately, with many thinking it sounds a lot like Bieber’s song “Let Me Love You” from his latest album Purpose. Fans posted on Twitter:

It also doesn’t help that the male vocals on the track sound exactly like Justin. But can you blame her? Bieber’s Purpose album literally played everywhere when it dropped — it’s no wonder she found inspiration in the songs!

And it’s not like fans aren’t digging it. In less than 24 hours, it’s already jumped to #35 on iTunes. If you haven’t heard it yet, you can listen on Spotify.

Demi Lovato has been super busy these days. Besides dropping “No Promises,” she’s also been promoting her new Smurf movie, surprising sick fans in the children’s hospital, and appearing on Jimmy Fallon’s “Ew” segment.
