Normani Kordei: ‘DWTS’ Helped Me Find Myself

Former Fifth Harmony member Normani Kordei recently talked about her time on Dancing with the Stars and said she was super grateful for the entire experience.

ICYMI Normani made it to the finale but she didn’t end up winning. Nevertheless, Normani is so proud of her DWTS journey. She told E!,

“I’m a stronger, creatively, even as a human being I’ve learned so much and I’ve just grown and I had the best partner ever and I wouldn’t be able to get this journey without him.”

She added,

“I don’t know. I feel in a way it helped me discover myself and I think that it’s just about the people surrounding us. It’s really become a family down to the wardrobe department, the make-up…It’s just been very, very fun and I’ve found myself. I don’t even know how it has the power that it has, but it’s impacted me greatly.”

The 20-year-old has been in the public eye since appearing on X Factor in 2012 so we can imagine it’s been hard for her to grow up and discover her identity.  She recently launched her solo career after Fifth Harmony broke up.
