Bill. Is Out. Bill O’Reilly has officially been fired from Fox News after endless sexual harassment suits.

As we previously reported, O’Reilly recently settled $13 million worth of sexual harassment suits. The O’Reilly Host had numerous lawsuits and sexual harassments against him but Fox News continually defended him and/or covered it up. Until Now.

After O’Reilly took “a vacation” and rumors started swirling of his firing, Fox News finally released an official statement. They said,

“After a thorough and careful review of the allegations, the company and Bill O’Reilly have agreed that Bill O’Reilly will not be returning to the Fox News Channel.”

This comes after more than 50 advertisers pulled out of their slots for the show and public rallies demanded that Fox News remove O’Reilly from their network. Last summer, Fox News forced out chairman Roger Ailes, also because of sexual harassment lawsuits. Are we sensing a pattern here?

Fox News has a culture of sexual harassment, but it wasn’t until this past summer that they started taking any real action.

We’ll be curious if O’Reilly is able to find work elsewhere after this.

A reminder: Our President recently defended O’Reilly and declared, “I don’t think Bill did anything wrong” and that Bill was “a good person.” Gross.
