GILMORE GIRLS

If you haven’t watched Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life yet, then STOP READING NOW.

Ok, for those of you still left, you’re completely familiar with Rory and Logan’s unsettling relationship. Rory has a boyfriend (although a forgettable one at that) and Logan has a fiance and yet the two are hooking up it’s no big deal. Not ok.

A lot of fans were disappointed in Rory for staying with Logan despite each being with other people but both Alexis Bledel and Matt Czuchry have decided to defend the relationship.

Speaking with ET, Matt says,

“Rory and Logan have always had a love for each other that goes back and forth, and they’ve never really wanted to say goodbye. They’re both in the same place at the same time in this particular story, so it’s a mutual relationship that they’re carrying on.”

So that makes it ok for them to cheat on their significant others??

Alexis seemed a little more startled by the coupling but still felt like the storyline made sense.

“It did surprise me. And I think it’s a little uncomfortable for (Rory) even though she’s kind if putting on a brave face that she’s fine with it. I think she’s just kind of going through the motions at this point when we pick up with them.”

We don’t care how Alexis and Matt justify it, it is still not ok to cheat on your fiance or boyfriend. Got it, Amy Sherman-Palladino? Good.
