It was only a matter of time before the story of Natalia Grace got the mini-series treatment. And now Hulu has delivered with Good American Family.
Good American Family follows the Barnett family, who adopted a 7-year-old with dwarfism from Ukraine back in 2010. The Barnetts would eventually go on to claim that Natalia was not actually a little girl, but a grown adult who was conning them and trying to kill them. (If this sounds familiar, it’s because it’s the exact plot of the 2009 horror film Orphan).
Of course, this is only the beginning of the extremely bizarre true story of the Barnetts and Natalia Grace (you can read the whole thing here, or just wait to see what happens in the series).
