After much hype, the Gossip Girl reboot is finally here! And people have *a lot* of opinions.

A lot of the folks who watched the original Gossip Girl circa 2007 found the reboot to be “cringeworthy” at best and many reviewers called it nearly unwatchable. But other fans saw a lot of potential in the queer-centered reboot.

Regardless of your opinion, there was one thing that everyone could agree on: the fashion is seriously top-notch.

The first episode alone featured designers like Christopher John Rogers, Veronica Beard, and Cinq a Sept float across our screens. Even the students’ uniforms are designer!

The styles shown are obviously a huge change from what we saw on the original. According to the show’s costume designer Eric Damon, who also worked on the original,

“Fashion has changed so much. On the original, the internet was a thing, but social media like Instagram wasn’t around, so a lot of the research has come through social media influences.”

He added,

“We try to mix the high-low and do vintage pieces and make it accessible for fans at home to be part of it.”

Most importantly, headbands have gotten the boot (although Eric promises they’re only on “hiatus”).

If you’re loving the outfits on the reboot, check out exactly where to get the looks below.
