Netflix, Lily Tomlin and Jane Fonda fans (and pretty much anyone who likes comedy)… it’s an exciting day! There is officially a Grace and Frankie season 3 release date.
Since the beginning, the show has been fairly progressive in its content. And now with the release of the upcoming season’s trailer, you can see the show is really stepping up.
The Netflix original series is changing the comedy game in an increasingly sex-positive program centering on older female characters.
The show quickly gained an audience thanks to none-other-than Miley Cyrus, who tweeted out her love for Grace and Frankie. The singer is even credited with getting the show renewed for its second season. Co-creator Marta Kauffman previously said in a statement,
“Let me say, it’s so awesome to do a show on Netflix. Because two and a half weeks after we launched, Miley Cyrus does a Tweet about your show, and they call and say, ‘We’d like to do a season two.’”
And now there’s going to be a season 3!
With taglines like “Problems in Vibrator-land” and “We’re back in buzzness”, it’s no secret what the new season centers on. Picking up where it left off, the season follows Grace and Frankie’s new business: vibrators for the aging woman.
With growing the ever-changing relationship and mounting tension between the leading ladies, how will the business move forward? And with their families’ situation thrown into the mix, how will they continue to adjust to this lifestyle?
