Spike released the official trailer for its upcoming I Am Heath Ledger documentary, and you will have lots of feelings when you watch it.
It released on the day that the late actor would have celebrated his 38th birthday.
The trailer indicates that the documentary will show us a more intimate side of Ledger, through interviews with close friends, and through footage shot by the actor himself.
In the two-minute video, interviewees describe the power of Heath Ledger as an artist, and the commanding presence he drew.
But it’s the snip-its from Ledger’s own personal camera that will really grab you. We look forward to seeing the movie in its entirety.
The documentary premieres at the Tribeca Film Festival on April 23, and on Spike TV on May 17.
