James Corden is quickly climbing up the ladder to earn his crown of Late Night King.
And for good reason, as his sketches seem to get wackier and even more creative with each passing day.
In our never ending quest to laugh away the pain of the hellacious nightmare that is our nation’s current administration, Corden has given us a distraction to hold us over for a day or so.
Corden and friends came together on last night’s show in a sketch called “Donald: The Musical.”
The sketch features Ben Platt (Pitch Perfect, Dear Evan Hansen), Tim Minchin (Matilda the Musical), and Abigail Spencer (Timeless).
The song is a parody of Matilda’s “When I Grow Up”, and has the actors playing Trump, Bannon, Spicer, and Conway.
Take a peek!
Corden’s musical bits always seem to earn the biggest praise from fans.
That said, is anyone else itching for a new Carpool Karaoke installment? Rumor has it that Ed Sheeran will be on sometime soon…
