Wednesday actress Jenna Ortega looked like a literal fairy on the 2024 Emmys Red Carpet and it’s all thanks to the hard work of the Dior Atelier.

Jenna stunned in a green and purple floral embroidered strapless mesh tea dress, designed by Dior legend Maria Grazia Chiuri herself.

The dress was a work of art featuring layers of rose des vents tulle, floral garlands in silk and sequins, and a silver trellis.

Needless to say, creating the gown was no easy task. According to Harper’s Bazaar, the dress took 700 hours of embroidery work and then an additional 400 hours of work to assemble the dress in its entirety.

The dress was complimented with a stunning white gold and diamond necklace, ring, and bracelet, all from the Gem Dior collection.

Jenna’s makeup artist Melanie Inglessis used Dior Beauty Eyeshadow to create a lavender and pewter smokey eye and Dior Beauty Rouge Dior Lipstick in Daisy Plum.

The look was a new aesthetic for Jenna, who usually opts for black when walking the red carpet. Jenna has also become known for her love of menswear-inspired looks with a particular penchant for designer Thom Browne.

While the fairy princess dress was certainly a surprise, the choice of designer wasn’t. Jenna was tapped as a Dior brand ambassador in March 2023 and later fronted the campaign for Dior’s Joaillerie’s Rose des Vents jewelry collection in September.

This was Jenna Ortega‘s first appearance this awards season as she’s been busy promoting her upcoming film, Miller’s Girl. The movie premiered at the Palm Springs International Film Festival on January 11 and hits theaters January 26.
