Love Gigi Hadid's Brand Guest in Residence But Can't Afford It? Here's Where to Get Similar Pieces For Less

When Gigi Hadid launched her clothing brand Guest in Residence in 2022, she wanted to create well-made cashmere pieces at a more accessible price point.

Nearly two years later and Gigi’s brand has been a success. The company expanded beyond its 100% cashmere core collection to include products made with merino wool and silk. The brand is sold via several online retailers, has a host of celebrity admirers (including Taylor Swift!), and has established a flagship brick-and-mortar store in NYC.

As far as accessibility, that depends on who you ask. Cashmere has a relatively wide price range — you can get a Chloe cashmere cardigan for $1,260 or a Banana Republic cashmere v-neck sweater for $150.

As for Guest in Residence pieces, the majority cost upwards of $250 with some costing as much as $500. It’s certainly better than the Chloe cardigan but it’s not exactly cheap either.

So, we decided to find some alternatives. Gigi’s entire ethos is that she wanted to create well-made heirloom pieces that could be passed down for generations. Keeping that in mind, we looked past the cheap dupes at H&M and Amazon and looked for pieces that could stand the test of time while also not costing an arm and a leg.

Below is our collection of Guest in Residence-inspired pieces that will feel super soft while also not breaking the bank. We capped the budget at $160 with most pieces costing less than $100.
