Goodbye Victoria’s Secret and Target, we’ve found our new source of underwear from this day forward. This week, Sofia Vergara launched EBY (Empowered By You), her new underwear subscription business. EBY donates ten percent of net sales to the Seven Bar Foundation, which helps uplifts underprivileged women by giving them the opportunity to become business owners and entrepreneurs through micro-financing. Vergara said in a statement,

“I have had the luxury of being able to grow my ideas into successful business ventures over the past 10 years. I want to be able to provide women with the tools to start their own businesses as an exit out of poverty. There’s nothing sexier than being your own boss.”

EBY isn’t an undergarment line in stores, so…how does this work? A little pink box with undies inside arrives on your doorstep every few months, of course. She told W Magazine,

“You get this box every month or two months, whatever you decide, of several underwear or however many you want and it’s like a little gift for yourself. And you’re essentially giving a gift.”

The underwear itself is great quality, and it fits a wide range of body shapes.

“There are five styles total to the collection, including a thong, brief, g-string, bikini, and boyshort, and we have all the sizes from Xs to 4x. We wanted to include everyone. They’re all equally super comfortable and practical.”

Vergara hopes to expand EBY globally. We adore her and honestly can’t wait to watch her shine as a businesswoman, so long as she’s still gracing us with her presence on our TV screens.
