Netflix’s latest star-studded film His Three Daughters has only just dropped on the streaming platform and it already has rave reviews.
And why wouldn’t it? Any movie that features Elizabeth Olsen, Natasha Lyonne, and Carrie Coon would be hard to screw up, after all.
The intense drama follows three estranged sisters (played by Olsen, Lyonne, and Coon) who reunite to take care of their dying father. Trapped in a tiny NYC apartment, the women have no choice but to confront each other and the childhood issues they tried so hard to bury.
All three women are vastly different — the oldest, Katie (Carrie Coon), is clean, well-dressed, and high-strung. The middle child, Rachel (Natasha Lyonne), is an old-school New Yorker and a wake-and-bake smoker. Last is Christina (Elizabeth Olsen), a bit of a hippie and free spirit who moved far away to raise her young family.
Needless to say, the three sisters all have very different aesthetics wardrobe-wise but you can’t help but love them all.
