Netflix’s latest original movie, Lonely Planet stars Laura Dern as novelist Katherine Loewe who travels to Morocco for a writer’s retreat. But she ends up finding a lot more than she expects — including a hot love affair with the dreamy Liam Hemsworth.
This is the latest in Netflix’s romcoms starring 40+ women who find themselves in the steamy relationships they deserve (see: Nicole Kidman in A Family Affair and Brooke Shields in Mother of the Bride). After all, women don’t hit their sexual prime until their 30s/early 40s.
