Netflix has dropped a lot of great series this summer and Survival of the Thickest is definitely at the top of that list.
The series follows Mavis Beaumont, a 38-year-old with an eye for fashion, who’s forced to start over after finding her long-time boyfriend cheating on her.
But not only is Mavis (Michelle Buteau) moving on, she’s moving up. She’s ready to take control of her life and her career. She wants to take her fashion business to the next level and empower curvy women to boot.
Not only is the series full of badass women (did we mention Garcelle Beauvais and Peppermint are in the show?!), but it’s also full of incredible plus size fashion.
