William Shatner is not wishing for Nick Viall to live long and prosper on Dancing with the Stars.

In fact, the actor is actively rooting against The Bachelor turned DWTS contestant. It’s unclear why. We’re guessing Shatner was #TeamRaven, though.

In a series of tweets, Shatner voiced his opinion loud and clear.

And there’s plenty more where that came from.

Like Nick or not, this active rooting against him is pretty confusing. Where is the animosity coming from? When fans asked why he was so against Nick, he replied: “Google it”.

Okay…?

Viall responded to Shatner’s tweets, kind of.

Regardless of this bizarre “feud”, this Dancing with the Stars season is already shaping up to be a good one. Well, at least a highly talked about one. From this Nick situation to the Heather Morris controversy, to that awkward partner grab, it’s already a busy season for unnecessary drama.

Can’t we all just watch some mediocre C-list celebrity dancing and get along?
